Purchase conditions
All orders placed with the University Museum Network (Sistema Museale di Ateneo – SMA) imply acceptance of the following purchase conditions.
FEES: Fees, expressed in euros (€), are in accordance with the approved price lists for each museum of the University Museum Network, which can be viewed at the individual ticket offices and on the official website. LINK
TICKET DURATION: The ticket is valid for 15 days.
PURCHASE: You must be at least 18 years of age to purchase your ticket. You can purchase tickets online from 30 days (GMT) to 1 day (GMT) before the date of your visit, subject to availability. You will receive an e-mail confirming your payment with a PDF ticket attached, valid directly for admission to the exhibitions. The University Museum Network is exclusively responsible for the purchase of tickets made on the official website, through the Reservation Centre or at the ticket offices of the museums that are part of the SMA. In the event that the ticket has been purchased by persons other than those indicated above, or has been lost, stolen, duplicated or tampered with, the bearer will not be authorised to visit the museum.
PAYMENT METHODS: Payment can only be made by debit/credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD). Credit card details are securely transmitted via the AXERVE payment circuit. The amount will be debited at the time of online purchase. You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the attached PDF ticket. If you do not receive the confirmation, please check your Spam folder.
CHANGES AND REFUNDS: There is no refund of tickets in the event of partial or total cancellation of the visit. It is only permitted to change the day and time of the booking once, by contacting the Reservations and Visits Centre.
DELAYS: You must arrive at least 10 minutes before the booking time. In the event of a delay with respect to the booking time, which is not attributable to the University Museum Network, immediate admission cannot be guaranteed; it will be possible to verify, in agreement with the staff on duty and compatibly with the times still available, a later time at which to make the visit, but admission is not guaranteed.
INVOICING: If you wish to receive an electronic invoice for an online purchase, before proceeding to purchase the ticket, please make a request by e-mail by writing to infoticket@sma.unipi.it and providing your personal data if you are a person (surname, first name, place and date of birth, residence, tax code and e-mail address) or the necessary data if you are a legal person (company name, registered office address, tax code/VAT code, PEC address, SDI code): pagoPA notice and proforma invoice for the balance will be sent. Subsequently, an electronic invoice will be issued.
COLLECTION FEE: The University Museum Network does not apply any collection fee to the final amount of the order.
OPENING HOURS: You can check the opening hours of the museums in the University Museum Network by consulting the museums’ websites and choosing Visit/Opening Hours from the menu.
EXTRAORDINARY CLOSURES: You can check the closing times of the museums in the University Museum Network by visiting the museum website and selecting Visit/Order. In the event of closure due to extraordinary events, timely notice will be given on the museums’ websites and on the website of the University Museum Network.
